Doing her part to try and help those affected by the tragic events in Japan, Britney Spears donated two tickets to her "Good Morning America" taping this Sunday in San Fransisco to a local radio station so that they could put them to good use.
Bay Area radio station Wild 94.9 got their hands on the two VIP passes to the show, which they in turn put up for auction with proceeds going to the Salvation Army. By the time the auction closed last night (March 23), the winner had bought their passes for a whopping $1,136.
Britney will pre-tape her "GMA" appearance this Sunday, which will air next Tuesday (March 29) — the day that her "Femme Fatale" album drops.
Spears' morning show visit will kick of her promo appearances for "Femme Fatale", which will include stops at "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," a 24-hour "Britney Take-Over" day at MTV, and an appearance on Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards
