She's always been a big philanthropist, and earlier today (March 23) Hilary Duff was spotted bringing Blessings in a Backpack to some Chicago students.
The "So Yesterday" songstress paid a visit to Edward Jenner Elementary Academy of the Arts where she brightened the day with words of encouragement and plenty of gifts for the kids.
Yesterday (March 22), it was more of the same for Ms. Duff, who was showing love to the students of Indianapolis Public School 61.
The 400 kids assembled in the school's gymnasium where they were given backpacks full of food. Of the childhood hunger issue, Hilary shared, "This is a huge problem, and I think until it's fixed I will continue to lend my time and do whatever I can and use my, sorry, celebrity to get the word out there."
