As an update to the GossipCenter story on Michael Lohan's arrest, it seems he was taken into custody for allegedly assaulting his ex-lover Kate Major.
According to reports, Papa Lohan arrived at his apartment last night only to find Miss Major (who used to live there) picking up some of her belongings.
Upon discovering that Kate was leaving for good, Michael "went ballistic" and started yelling at Miss Major.
When she turned her back to him, Lohan allegedly threw Kate across the room, causing her to strike her shoulder against the bedpost.
From there, Kate tried to call the cops, but Michael grabbed a towel and began to choke her, threatening that if the cops showed up, he'd cut himself with a razor and say that she did it to him.
After things died down, Kate went to a Sheriff's station to report the incident. Shortly thereafter the police arrested Lohan.
