After negotiations between the two parties took place earlier today (March 28), Sean Penn has reportedly settled a civil suit filed by the photographer he kicked nearly two years ago.
The actor approached and kicked paparazzo Jordan Dawes in Brentwood, California in October 2009, with the incident caught on video.
Last May, Penn pleaded no contest to vandalism in connection with the Dawes incident, receiving 36 months of probation and 300 hours of community services.
In related news, Sean made his first public appearance as a couple with girlfriend Scarlett Johansson over the weekend as the pair attended actress Reese Witherspoon 's wedding to Hollywood agent Jim Toth.
